"Mean Streets Scatter"
Hinted at for months, this altogether new range of 28mm 3D resin printed items is the next new page to be added to TVAG.
Street and traffic lights, police/fire call boxes, trash cans, shoe shine stands, street carts, phone and power poles, etc, and so much more, will add the finishing touches to any "Mean Streets" layout. Designed to the same
exacting standards as hideously expensive model railroad accessories, but far less expensive and in the proper scale for war games, nothing like them is available elsewhere. But not only details found on period city streets, the range
includes architectural details too tedious for most modelers to scratch build, and far superior to designs provided as part of many "Mean Streets" Block Sections. Exterior staircases, window awnings, roof top ventilators and chimneys,
doorway steps, old fashioned tenement stoops, and still more. Any of these will make your existing Block Sections, as well as your own "from scratch" buildings, far easier to make, and improve their appearance dramatically.
And what are period city streets without vehicles adding to your crime waves? A supporting range of trucks and cars includes a Mack AB heavy stake truck (full of separate beer barrels), a 1930 Seagrave
fire truck, and for all you "Untouchables" fans, an authentic recreation of Eliot Ness' Mack "Corbett" refrigerator truck modified "Brewery Buster" with snowplow for bashing warehouse doors as seen in the original series. Others to come
include a Paddy Wagon, Chicago 1929 Cadillac police car, and a bus for your sneaky characters to arrive in town on--or get the heck out of.
But not only will "Mean Streets Scatter" heighten the appearance of building exteriors, there is also the start of a range of furniture and specialty items for interiors including hospital beds, prison bunks, barber chairs,
restaurant tables and chairs, etc, to furnish your "Mean Sets."
The plan is to grow this line quickly and extensively in order to help gamers elevate the presentation of their table tops for home and convention games, and all with variety and affordability. The
initial release items will appear on the "Mean Streets Scatter" page soon!
"Mean Streets"
Some new Block Sections are in the works, including the nearly ready for release "Irish Block" consisting of O'Leary's Hardware Store whose second floor is home to the "Sons of Erin Social Club," and whose back lot is the site of
"Paddy's Used Cars." At this writing (mid-April) only photos of the finished product need be taken before release. Another new addition is another "Italian Block," this one hosting the historically accurate "Colosimo's Restaurant," the
legitimate cover for "Big Jim" Colosimo's many criminal interests--and the site of his assassination in at the beginning of Al Capone's conquest of Chicago. On the opposite side are "Domenico's Italian Butcher Shop," whose top floor is
home to the "Sons of Italy Social Club," and next door is "Giacomo's Italian Bakery." We're sure that these two Social Clubs will have any number of reasons for some really... noisy interactions.
And to prove that all "Mean Streets" designs are subject to continuing improvement, Block Section 14 The Courthouse now has far improved graphics for its side walls, plus improved Front and Rear Doors, as can be seen via

"The Sword And The Flame"/"800 Fighting Englishmen" Game Card Decks
The transition from professionally printed Game Decks to PDF files for self-printing continues. Again, this became inescapable as the price of printing became insupporatble. Since the last post here on the matter, the number of Decks
now offered in this format has grown to six, and are still full-sized and full color. The prices for these are reduced to reflect the change, and all are still delivered via E-mail, free of postage. Other Game Decks for both rule sets are still
available while supplies last.

The Sun Never Sets
FINALLY, Chris Ferree has reached the peak of the most ambitious 15mm miniatures project ever for TVAG. We are about to offer all British Imperial and Native Armies on a subscription basis whereby the purchase of each bag of figures bought in
advance will net two bags upon release. No cash will be required until the minimum number of subs for each available set has been reached. Infantry will be sold 20 figures to each bag, including command/specialty figures (Officer/Leader,
Musician, Color Bearer), while Cavalry will come 12 riders and horses to the bag, also with appropriate Command figures. Artillery will be offered as two gun sections complete with crews. Wagons/Transport Animals will vary in number or price
based on their physical size. Elephants are bigger than Mules! Full terms of the "The Sun Never Sets" Subscription will be made public as soon as the logistics have all been settled.
This unique rules project continues as Chris has completed his unique solo variant to TSNS. A computer moderated system that eliminates virtually all record keeping on the part of the Player as Prime Minister, providing an amazing
experience for Parliament to be jostled and persuaded to support your Imperial Program. It will be offered FREE with future orders of either the Print or PDF Editions of the current 40th Anniversary Edition. Owners of that Edition may receive the
Solo Computer Variant simply by requesting their copy from TVAG.
There's nothing like this system out there for any war game, and it will provide all the miniature Colonial Battles you could ever hope for years to come! For solo players, or clubs, this is the ideal way to
keep your interest fresh--not to mention new reason to finish painting your store of figures waiting to join the campaign.

"The Big House!"--This one is simply nuts, a "vanity project" that got out of hand, if ever there was one.
The "Mean Streets/Sets" Prison Collection models are complete and ready for release and will come with crucial accessories. Besides the Prison Cell Bars, there's Guard Rails, roof mounted Siren, furnishings for the Prison
Infirmary and Warden's Office. Photos will be posted soon of the other three completed Sets (Dining Hall, Prison Yard/Main Gate, and the Infirmary/Warden's Office. To see the Cell Block, hit this LINK,

But when I said the project has made it's own "Bust Out!," I meant it. The entire project will only be complete when the first of several sets of completely original, 3D designed 28mm cast figures to populate the Prison
Collection is released. The first set of 6 distinct "Convicts" is ready to go, and the second set of 5 Female Convicts (and 1 beast of a Prison Matron!) are nearing completion, and all will be followed by a set of Prison Staff--4 Guards,
the Chief of Guards, and the Warden. All Convicts come with separate arm combinations ranging from open-handed, to holding riot weapons, and smuggled firearms, as well as separate heads/hats where fitting. The Guards will have the option
of carrying their canes for control, but also their own firearms when it all hits the fan!
These figures are only the beginning of a definitive set of 28mm Street Characters suitable for all RPG's set in the 20's through 40's, be they Pulp, Cthulhoid, Cop/Gangster games. There will be a LOT more on this
soon!
The long promised "Tiki Bar" for "Mean Sets" still needs some special furnishings prior to final release, but they will be part of the nascent range of "Mean Streets Scatter" is well underway for 28mm 3D resin printing.
